Questions
Pricing FAQ
Is this a percentage of funds raised?
No. We charge a flat monthly retainer by stage, never a percentage of capital raised. A success fee on a raise creates an incentive to push you toward a round that may not be the right one; a flat retainer keeps the advice aligned with your business, not the transaction.
What happens between fundraises?
Most of the engagement happens between raises, not during them: monthly close, board reporting, forecasting, and the financial hygiene that makes the next raise faster when it comes. The fundraise-specific work — data room, mock diligence, investor materials — ramps up only when you're actually going to market.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes, three months. Financial modeling and board reporting only prove their value over a few cycles; a one-month engagement rarely gives either of us a fair read on fit.
Do you work with pre-seed or bootstrapped companies?
Not currently. We work with B2B companies that have raised, or are actively raising, a Series A or later institutional round. Earlier-stage or non-venture-backed companies are better served by a bookkeeper or a part-time controller.
